When we first started, we realized quickly that 1) You have to practice before doing a real repair on a real customer's windshield (obviously) 2) There's no way to practice without a windshield!
This practice glass is made from scraps of real windshields. It has two glass layers, with a laminate layer in between. We've chipped one piece of practice glass over 60 times. So it can go far.
